Hello, and welcome to my travel blog, The Navigating Cosmopolite. I decided to start this blog for my upcoming study/travel abroad experiences to New York City and London, which begin next week. I hope to detail my time in these cities, as well as other ones along the way.
I will be studying in New York City for a month, then spend a month home in San Francisco, and then fly across the Atlantic to spend four months in London and Europe. I figured, why not keep track of my adventures abroad (and at home) for the next six months?
So for the purposes of this blog, I am the Navigating Cosmopolite. I want to explore the cities I'll be living in and traveling to. I have a spatial memory, so navigation is easy for me; that's partially why majoring in geography made so much sense to me. I want to navigate throughout the places I will be traveling in as a cosmopolite, or a citizen of the world. With these travels, I will not only visit for a short period of time, but actually live in these places, and witness what it is like to be a resident of the two most global, cosmopolitan cities in the world.
But seriously, I leave in three days. I gotta go pack!
